Then I would recommend the "Sundown" album. The song in this video is on it as well. :)

..may I suggest Gord's Gold (the first one) to start with.then maybe "The United Artist years" that incorporate is first 5 albums from his days with UA..he has about 2-23 cd's out there..all musically massive in ther own right..make sure you take his lyrics in for all his songs..without them it's just nice 'folk' music..I've spoken to him on different occasions and his music all tells awesome tales..

I'm new to listening to G.L. but from the few songs I can find on here to listen to, he sounds really good. I especially like Sundown. Thanks for the video. I will take your advice on buying a CD (though it may be on Ebay). ~Karen, Ky

thank you!..but please rate..interesting point..the first ship you see is the world famous Canadian Bluenose(the ship on the Cdn. dime)colorized pic from 1922..the second is the Bluenose II..and frames 3 and 4 are of the remade 'Bounty' of Capt.Bligh and Fletcher Christian mutiny fame..the Amistad and other great ones are in there too as rebuilt and/or remade..

THANKS for a truely Great song... This version is my favorite as it has female background vocals by none other than Cathy Smith, Gordon's THEN girlfriend, who later helped John Belushi kill himself... DAN-O

I'm a diehard G.L. fan since the early '70s. He is my favorite singer and has vastly improved my life. I've got everything he's ever done and have seen him 18 times in concert. Happily, I found many downloads of him on You Tube. Thank you for your beautiful pictures. I rate you a 10/10. |
