@bigkiwial Apparently you didn't see the comment RIGHT BEFORE THIS ONE

@jbkimble28 Fucking bullshit, thats a gennaker, the prod only comes out like that on the stbd side because the designer had no idea how to get it out thru the centre like on a thompson, and it should be able to rotate, like on a thompson.
jbkimble28 (December 31, 1969 at 3:59 pm)
@multitalent8 Touche'......That was the Vang. And I have to admit that I didn't watch the video long enough to see them Jibe. My mistake. Gennaker.
multitalent8 (December 31, 1969 at 3:59 pm)
@jbkimble28 since when do we use a spinnaker pole on the lee side?? That's the vang you dweeb. Look, a spinnaker is never attached to the bowsprit, okay?
jbkimble28 (December 31, 1969 at 3:59 pm)
@neketr Those who say sailing downwind is not really "sailing" then they obviously have NO idea what they are talking about. Sailing down wind is the most dangerous point of sail. Jibing, pitchpole, broach to a forced knockdown, especially flying a spinn. If your on a boat, and your using the wind to power it.......its sailing
jbkimble28 (December 31, 1969 at 3:59 pm)
@multitalent8 not a gennaker....... check out the spin pole coming off the port side (black) and its coming off the bowsprit. --Asymmetrical Spinnaker.
